Five elements/principles of art for Negative Space Drawing:
1. Line: I used line in this picture to "outline" the chair and stool. I used straight and curvy lines to make the chair, stool, and flowers in the background.
2. Shape: The shape I used the most was a circle. I used it for the bottom of the chair and for the center of my flowers.
3. Rhythm: The rhythm in my NSD is the flowers. I tried to alternate them in a rhythmic pattern.
4. Emphasis: The emphasis in my NSD is the negative space (chair and stool). It is bigger than the flowers and is white, giving off contrast.
5. Balance: My NSD has informal balance. There is a bigger white space on the left than on the right,
